Google Voice pricing vs Signilio for sales teams
Published pricing, what a plan includes, the fees that show up later, and the shared inbox, side by side. Checked September 25, 2026.
The short answer
Google Voice is a phone line, and a good one for a small team already on Google Workspace: $10 to $30 a user with unlimited US texting for real conversations. It is not a texting platform, and Google says so in plain words: messaging is for interactive conversations, it is not intended for bulk messaging, and sending the same text to many people can get you blocked. There is no campaign tool, no shared inbox and no 10DLC registration. Signilio's plans start at $34.99 a month for 1,000 texts on registered local numbers, built for campaigns and the replies they bring. If you have been blasting from Google Voice and getting restricted, that is the reason.

Common questions
- Is Google Voice cheaper than Signilio?
- It depends on volume and team size. For a team of five sending 10,000 one-segment texts a month from five numbers, Google Voice's cheapest published way to buy that is Starter, and the published bill comes to $50.00 a month. Note: Google Voice does not offer campaign sending to a list: "Google Voice messaging is intended only for interactive conversations. It's not intended for bulk messaging"; sending the same text to many recipients can get messages blocked; group texts hold 8 people. Signilio is $189.99 a month on its Pro plan for the same team, carrier fees included. Which one is cheaper changes with volume and team size, so the calculator above gives your own number.
- Can you send mass texts with Google Voice?
- No. Google's help pages say messaging is intended only for interactive conversations and not for bulk messaging, and that sending the same text to multiple recipients or many texts in a short period can get messages blocked. Signilio is built for campaigns.
- How much does Google Voice cost for business?
- $10, $20 or $30 per user per month as a Workspace add-on, with unlimited US texting for conversations. Signilio's plans start at $34.99 a month for 1,000 texts and 2 seats, with campaigns on every plan.
- Does Google Voice support 10DLC registration?
- No; there is no business sender registration on Google Voice, which is part of why bulk texts from it get filtered. Signilio registers your brand and campaign as part of onboarding.
- What does switching involve?
- Onboarding is white-glove. We'll register your brand, configure your numbers, and get your first campaign out the door with you.
