Comparison
Twilio pricing vs Signilio for sales teams
Published pricing, what a plan includes, the fees that show up later, and the shared inbox, side by side. Checked September 25, 2026.
The short answer
Twilio is the cheapest number on this list and the most expensive product: $0.0083 per segment plus about half a cent of carrier fees, and then everything else is yours to build, the inbox, the campaigns, the opt-out handling, the registration and the engineers who keep it running. Signilio's plans start at $34.99 a month for 1,000 texts and reach $189.99 for 12,000, for a finished platform with a two-way team inbox and registration done with you. If you have a development team and want to build your own texting product, Twilio is the right tool. If you have a sales team that needs to send on Monday, the per-segment price is not the comparison that matters, and the estimator shows both bills.

Common questions
- Is Twilio cheaper than Signilio?
- It depends on volume and team size. For a team of five sending 10,000 one-segment texts a month from five numbers, Twilio's cheapest published way to buy that is long-code SMS, list rate, and the published bill comes to $143.75 a month. Note: Twilio is an API: this price buys sending only. The inbox, campaign tools, opt-out handling and the people to build and run them are not in it.. Signilio is $189.99 a month on its Pro plan for the same team, carrier fees included. Which one is cheaper changes with volume and team size, so the calculator above gives your own number.
- Is Twilio cheaper than Signilio?
- Per segment, yes: $0.0083 plus carrier fees of about $0.0035 to $0.0045, against about 1.6 cents a text inside Signilio's Pro allowance and 4¢ down to 3¢ per extra text, carrier fees included. Twilio is an API, so that price buys sending only; the inbox, campaigns, compliance handling and the people to build and run them are extra. Signilio's plan price buys the whole platform.
- Does Twilio register 10DLC for you?
- No, you register yourself through the console or API. Fees are passed through: $4.50 or $46 for the brand, $15 campaign vetting, then $1.50 to $10 a month per campaign. Signilio does the registration with you during onboarding.
- Does Twilio have an inbox?
- Not in Programmable Messaging; you build or buy one. Signilio's two-way team inbox is included.
- What does switching involve?
- Onboarding is white-glove. We'll register your brand, configure your numbers, and get your first campaign out the door with you.
